Here at TSI Health, we practice "Empathic ABA," which means that our providers have additional training in therapeutic principles, mindfulness, mental health, and trauma. This approach allows for "whole-person" treatment, focused on the needs of the individual, not just the numbers.
Our behavior services are a skill acquisition and goal based method encompassing positive behavioral supports, Applied Behavior Analysis, and therapeutic principles. It focuses on creating a functional environment in the home, school, and community. We target certain maladaptive behaviors and help to transform those behaviors into pro social behaviors. This approach can lead to better mental, physical, and emotional health & wellness.

The target areas provide clients with a well-balanced support plan to ease stress and decrease potential issues. Our services are completely individualized and we can incorporate many types of strategies to achieve a desired result.
All Behavioral Services MUST have a the following listed documents in order to request assessment:
-Full Psychiatric Diagnostic Report
-Prescription for ABA Services from a Medicaid-Credentialed Medical Doctor
***Scripts that are signed by an ARNP/PA will be denied by Medicaid***
-Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
Supplemental Documentation May Include:
-Child Dependency paperwork
-Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessment
-Referrals, Suspensions, School Incidents
-Letters from caregiver, teachers, case managers, or foster parents documenting observed behaviors
***Scripts that are signed by an ARNP/PA will be denied by Medicaid***

Children are amazing creatures, that take in information at lightning speed. Sometimes children have difficulty processing all of that information and connecting it with their emotions, resulting in withdrawal, behavioral outbursts, or negative attention seeking. Our child strengths sessions are for siblings of individuals with special needs or children with various disability diagnoses.
Adolescence is a time of great change and transformation, filled with many challenges. Our staff is here to assist in those challenges and to ease the pressures of young-adulthood. Some of our specialties include, but are not limited to: school transition, social skills training, behavioral concerns, self-esteem, peer pressure and bullying, coping with divorce, trauma, self-injury, body and weight issues, academic concerns, impulsivity, depression, anxiety, and addictions issues.
It can be difficult to manage family, life, and work when you have a child or adolescent with special needs. We have found that often times, parents lack a support system and struggle to find resources within the community. Our family counseling focuses on identifying the positive core within each family and working together to build success. We use a combination of techniques, resources, and education to ensure that families feel supported throughout their growth process.

Our College program is dedicated to increasing graduation rates and overall life satisfaction for students with varying abilities. We specialize in supports for individuals with: Autism Spectrum Disorder/Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, TBI, and more.
